Drive west up Bow Trail, past the Sarcee Trail intersection and look left. You’ll see the popular Sunterra Market Square development and adjacent to that and north is the Community of Signature Parke. Signature Parke boasts an outstanding location well within walking distance of Market Square and especially the new west LRT line. A quick hop on the LRT and you’re downtown in no time.
Nestled in the northeast corner of this family community is the Westside Rec Center, again within walking distance of most homes. The facilities and athletic programs for young and old alike at the Westside Rec Center are outstanding. Take your kids to enjoy the wave pool and slide or swim laps or take lessons. Upstairs is a massive running track and programs include a state of the art Spin Class with virtual rides.
Check the Calgary Board of Education and Calgary Catholic School Board websites for current school locations and/or busing programs. Many of the local schools in the area are capped and students are being bussed to neighboring communities so it’s important to check in advance. I believe there is a new Catholic school that may be built near the Westhills Shopping Center. I haven’t confirmed this yet, but stay tuned!
There is the brand new Ernest Manning High School located conveniently just across the street from the Westside Rec Center and the LRT Station.
Nearby Springborough has an outstanding pre-school program called Brite Studios. With the following programs: Kindergarten, Preschool, Art, Music, Dance, Karate, Wondertime Age 2-3 and Reading.

Local residents enjoy the nearby, newest shopping center, Aspen Landing, where you’ll find grocery stores, flower shops, Filly Lilly, veterinarians, and a great selection of restaurants.
You’ll find Signature Parke has several grocery stores to choose from all within a 5-10 minute drive: Safeway, Coop, Sobey’s, Sunterra Market and my personal favorite Blush Lane Organic Market.
